Combilift founder Martin McVicar believes his latest innovation will help combat the spread of Covid-19.
The 'Copper-Cover' is a device which spray a thin layer of copper on to common touch points, such as door handles and sink taps.
It's been launched by McVicar and Galway native Michael McGrath.
Coronavirus can survive for up to three days on plastic or stainless steel surfaces, but McVicar says it will only survive for two or three minutes on a 'Copper-Cover' surface.
Several schools and crèches in Monaghan and some in the UK have already availed of it and it's hoped jobs will be created by the initiative.
