Students in a Co Monaghan secondary school have created a cookbook to celebrate diversity in the community and the way in which food can bring us together.
Largy College in Clones is shortlisted in the "Make Our World Fair and Just" category of the Young Social Innovators Awards.
The school is nominated for its "RACE - Right Attitude Creates Equality" project and has also started a podcast that celebrates the different nationalities and cultures within the school and wider community.
The final of the Young Social Innovators award is taking place online on Thursday at 11 am and Monaghan School Coláiste Oiriall is also shortlisted for its response to the "Make Our Future More Sustainable Challenge".
Largy College students made their final pitch to the judges this morning, with Augusta Zelbaite telling Northern Sound that "food is the glue of the world":
