A Co Monaghan National School has been granted approval to go to construction on a new mainstream classroom and en-suite.
Education Minister Norma Foley approved the works at St Michael's National School, Donaghmoyne, yesterday.
The news has been welcomed by local Oireachtas members Robbie Gallagher and Niamh Smyth, who have congratulated Principal Fiona Whelan, her staff, and the Board of Management.
