Co Monaghan has the lowest 14-day incidence rate of covid-19.
In the 14-day period up to the 21st of April, Monaghan had an incidence rate of 272 per 100,000 population.
Elsewhere, Co Cavan registered the fourth-lowest figure over the same period, at 407 cases per 100,000, while Waterford had the highest rate, at 653.
It comes as the Health Minister, Stephen Donnelly, welcomed declining covid-19 hospitalisations.
535 people with covid-19 were in Irish hospitals this morning - last month, that figure was 1,466.
Meanwhile, there are 43 confirmed cases in ICUs.
