County Monaghan has recorded the highest number of covid fatalities per 100,000 population.
Meanwhile, Co Cavan has the fourth-highest rate of covid-related deaths nationwide.
From the beginning of the covid pandemic until Tuesday, November 9th, there have been 5,566 covid-related deaths in Ireland.
The majority of these deaths occurred in Dublin, where there have been 1,935 covid-related deaths.
However, Co Monaghan has the highest number of covid-related deaths per 100,000 population.
There have been 104 deaths in the county, a mortality rate of 169 per 100,000.
Co Cavan has the fourth highest mortality rate - 120 people have died with Covid in the county, a rate of 158 per 100,000.
Meanwhile, Kerry has the lowest rate in the country, at 56 per 100,000.
