A Co Cavan farmer has been inducted into the Irish Texel Society Hall of Fame.
Sean McGee, from Crosskeys, was initially nominated in 2020, but the awards were postponed due to Covid restrictions.
But he finally received the honour and was inducted into the Texel Hall of Fame at a recent ceremony in Athlone.
Sean has been a member of the Irish Texel Society for many years and his Navac flock has featured regularly throughout this time in prize winning line-ups.
The Irish Texel Society said it's "magnificent" to see his contribution and dedication to the promotion of the Texel breed recognised in this way.
