€435,000 has been allocated to the Further and Education and Training sector on Cavan and Monaghan for sustainability measures.
The Green Devolved Capital Grant will allow Cavan and Monaghan ETB to make essential improvements to their owned buildings, focusing on lowering energy usage, increasing energy efficiency, and reducing the carbon footprint of their facilities.
Senator Joe O'Reilly described the funding as a "game-changer". The Fine Gael former teacher said the money will give Cavan and Monaghan ETB, the resources to make real, impactful changes that will benefit not just their facilities but the entire community.
