The closing date for submissions to express interest in the supply of Turnkey social housing in Cavan has been extended.
The County Council says it has received over 1,000 applications for housing support and is "seeking to increase the number of houses being brought into use".
It's looking for looking for proposals from developers and contractors to provide new, turnkey social housing developments in the county.
The projects should "located in, or within, close proximity to the respective towns and villages, close to primary services" and "should preferably have a minimum size of five units".
The closing date for receipt of submissions was last Wednesday, but this deadline has now been extended to 3pm on Thursday, the 21st of April.
