Clones student, Zoe Clarke has reason to celebrate after ranking amongst the best in Ireland and the world in her accountancy exam.
An Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) student at Dublin-based online and blended learning college, Accountancy School, Zoe finished first in Ireland, and 8th worldwide, in her Advanced Financial Management (AFM) exam. All were recognised for their achievements at a ceremony in Dublin recently.
Viewing her result in context, of the worldwide number of 500,000 ACCA students, approximately 8,000 of whom study in Ireland, Zoe was one of 30 Accountancy School students to finish first in Ireland. Speaking to Northern Sound, Zoe said that she is still overwhelmed by her recent success:
