A new book on 'Mental Wealth' has been launched by Clones native Emma Weaver. The local author is also the founder of Mental Wealth International, an organisation which supports businesses to achieve better mental health and wellbeing within the workplace.
With over two decades of experience managing mental health services, Emma said she recognised the need to support and work with those in the construction industry and other employment sectors.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Emma believes that supporting employees through training, workshops and staff wellbeing review's will not only reduce sick leave in the work place but will also create an overall better workplace environment.
She added that her new book which was recently launched at the Enniskillen Workhouse can act as a "guide" for those if and when they need it. "The idea of the book is that you can pick it up and take what you need from it as and when you need it," explained Emma. "There's different chapters, ideas and supports throughout the book which talks about what mental wealth is and more importantly how to achieve it."
