The free car parking scheme in operation in Cavan over Christmas comes to an end this evening.
From tomorrow, 28th December, all normal parking charges will once again apply for off-street car parks and the multi-storey car park in the town. Cavan County Council operated a free off-street parking initiative in the run up to Christmas. The Council said the scheme was aimed at supporting business and to encourage people to shop local at Christmas,
Normal parking fees are now back in the car parks at the courthouse, Townhall, Bridge, Connolly and Main streets.
