Children in the region encouraged to enter competition to have artwork in Garda Stations nationwide

Children throughout the region are being encouraged to enter an art competition to have their poster displayed in Garda Stations across the country.

The idea behind the project is to create a design that represents the theme ‘Covid-19 Social Distancing’.

The competition is for children aged 6 to 12 divided into 3 categories, with 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place prizes in each.

Artwork should be done on an A4 page or canvas, and can be in any medium including paint, markers, pencils, mixed media, and mosaic.

All entries should be sent to Garda Antoinette Prior at Ballyconnell Garda Station, by the 25^th of June.
