The PSNI are appealing for information on the whereabouts of four children missing from the Lisnaskea area

The PSNI in Fermanagh are seeking the public's help in locating four children missing from Lisnaskea.

The police have named the children as siblings Louise Maughan who is aged 16 years, her sister Marie Theresa who is 15 years old, their brother, Owen who is 12 and Christina Maughan who is aged 8.

They were reported missing from the Lisnaskea area on Thursday, 5th October.

It's believed they may have travelled out of Northern Ireland with their mother and father, Kathleen and Martin Maughan, and may be somewhere in the Republic of Ireland.

Chief Inspector Lynne Corbett asked that the children are returned to Northern Ireland as soon as possible.

The officer said: "We ask that Kathleen or Martin, the children, or anyone who knows of their whereabouts get in touch with police and let us know where the children are and that they are safe."

Police can be contacted by calling 101.

The PSNI supplied a photograph of the missing children and their parents. They advise that although the photo was taken five/six years ago, the children are still recognisable and “the mother Kathleen, is of slim build.”
