The Chief Executive of the CMETB has hailed the staff of Inver College after the Carrickmacross School received approval for the development of five new classrooms.
Inver College is set to benefit from two Special Education rooms, a multi-media room, a music room and a general classroom.
It's the second funding announcement for the school in recent times, with a €6.1 million extension and upgrade works being approved in December of 2019.
John Kearney said these upgrades are a "complete endorsement of the excellent teaching and learning standards within the school".
He told Shannonside Northern Sound that school staff have "risen to the challenge" of the covid-19 pandemic:
