The agricultural training college in Ballyhaise will be welcoming the Chair of Ireland's independent electoral commission today. Ms Justice Marie Baker will be meeting with agricultural students and Teagasc Agricultural College staff in Co Cavan to speak with them about voting in the upcoming 8 March referendums.
The Chair will be donning her wellies as calving season is underway on site, to deliver referendum information directly to agricultural students and staff and hear about the work carried out in Ballyhaise College. An Coimisiún Toghcháin is Ireland's independent electoral commission is responsible for explaining the issues to be voted on in the two 8 March Referendums and for encouraging people to get out and vote.
