The residential vacancy rate in Co Cavan is more than 80% above the national average.
Cavan has a residential vacancy rate of 7.7%, compared to 4.2% nationally.
Co Monaghan's vacancy rate is also above the national average, at 5.2%.
The figures come from the latest GeoDirectory Residential Buildings Report for Quarter Two of this year.
In Co Cavan, the residential vacancy rate stood at 7.7%, considerably higher than the national average of 4.2%.
Meanwhile, 276 residential buildings were under construction in Cavan as of June, and GeoDirectory found that the average residential property price in county was close to €190,000 as of May.
Elsewhere, Monaghan also had a vacancy rate above the national average, at 5.2%, while the average residential property price as of May was just under €195,500.
At 12.8%, Leitrim has the highest vacancy rate, while Dublin had the lowest vacancy rate in the country at 1.5%.
Meanwhile, the highest average property price was recorded in Dublin, at close to €515,000, while the lowest was in Longford, at just over €154,000.
