With areas of dense fog developing this morning, road users are advised to expect impaired visibility and "potentially hazardous travelling conditions".

The advisory for Cavan, Monaghan, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath and all of Connacht and Munster is in effect until midday.

The road traffic collision occurred on the N54 at Plush in Cloverhill at 10:45pm on Saturday night.

A decision on the application is due in February.

The showcase will take place from today until the 21st of January.
