A Cavan woman has urged people to be safe in the sun after she was diagnosed with skin cancer.
Kelly Denning was diagnosed in 2015 after her GP noticed a mole on her back which was later found to be melanoma.
It was removed and she had regular check-ups with a dermatologist but she was subsequently diagnosed with cancer last July after two lumps were found under her arm.
Testing revealed these were also melanoma.
Further scans found two lesions on her liver.
Speaking on The Joe Finnegan Show today, Kelly said she was a regular user of sunbeds and would never wear sun cream if she was outside.
