A Cavan woman hopes she can bring more diversity to Macra na Feirme during her term as regional Vice-President.
Luna Orofammia, ran unopposed as the North-West regional candidate for the farming organisation, and was formally elected last night.
The Butlersbridge native, and Ramor Macra member says she wants to promote more online events to drive engagement during the pandemic.
The election of new national representatives also marks the end of Thomas Duffy’s term as President.
Luna says she’d like to see steps taken to break down some of the gender specific competitions within Macra.
