A Cavan woman has been crowned 'Driver of the Year' at Bus Éireann's regional GEM Awards. The annual awards ceremony recognises employees for their excellent customer service, community impact, performance and forward-thinking.
Cavan Depots, Teresa Hatchett, was recognised as 'Road Passenger Driver of the Year' for the Eastern region.
Teresa's Supervisor, Jim Reilly described her as a "very dedicated hard worker" who is "committed" to her job. Teresa's management also added that they regularly receive compliments from passengers about Teresa's warm welcomes, nice goodbyes and how polite and helpful she is.
