The Cavan Regional Water Supply has been removed from Irish Water's Remedial Action List.
The scheme had been placed on the list after it was found to contain levels of pesticides which were above allowed limits.
Five exceedances of the pesticide MCPA were found in 2018, with another two in 2019.
No exceedances were found in 2020.
Irish Water says it has been working in partnership with a range of organisations to provide advice and guidance to users of pesticides on best practice and the including the safe use of pesticides to protect drinking water quality are always followed.
It says the removal from the list will benefit 12,000 customers.
