Two Cavan TY students have launched a campaign in memory of their friend who died in a drowning accident.
In July of this year, 15 year old Killian Casey died after he got into difficulty while swimming in Lough Sheelin.
Lauren Quirke and Hannah Scannell from St Clare's College in Ballyjamesduff recently set up "Killian's Campaign" to raise awareness of the dangers of swimming and raise funds for a number of charities.
The pair are selling personalised keyrings as part of a fundraiser and they want to create an educational programme for schools.
Lauren and Hannah told Northern Sound News that it's something very close to their hearts.
