The Sex Workers Alliance Ireland say the work of the group exposing sex workers' locations is dangerous to the women involved who are doing nothing illegal

A group called Escort Ireland Watch contacted this station to report prostitution at three town centre addresses.

Plans submitted by Radar Investments Limited called for the construction of 66 apartments in one building.

All four appeared before Sligo court and have now been charged.

The report noted that it was clear that staff were aware of residents communication needs and observations confirmed that residents were given time and space to make their views known

The Chairman of the commerce is Cllr Philip Brady who is also a well known businessman in the town.

The building will comprise of a takeaway and a retail commercial unit on ground floor level and a total of 11 apartments.
