Cavan Town residents will know no. 1 Ashe Street as the location of Mick Young's, Linus McDonald's, Cathal Brady's, and Adrian Dempsey's Bar.

A well-known Cavan business is to follow in the footsteps of several predecessors by taking up residence in number 1 Thomas Ashe Street in the town.

Cavan Town residents will know number 1 Ashe Street as the location of Mick Young's, Linus McDonald's, Cathal Brady's, and Adrian Dempsey's Bar. Elegant Gems jewellers will move from the corner of Main Street, which they occupied for 36 years when they renovated Black's Newsagents back in 1989.

In an online post, the management of Elegant Gems said they "shared decadces of milestones" with their loyal customers at their original premises and while "their address may change what defines us will not".
