The secretary of Cavan Tidy Towns is appealing to general election candidates to be responsible with their posters.
Campaign posters have been permitted since the 8th of November.
Candidates generally have seven days after the election takes place to remove their posters, which will be December 6th this year.
Paul Lynch is the Cavan Tidy Towns Committee Secretary.
Speaking to Northern Sound, he says those putting up and taking down posters should be especially mindful of cable ties on poles.
