Cavan Tidy Towns recognised on a national level

Cavan Tidy Towns group has yet again been recognised at a regional awards event that was held in Roscommon in recent days.

The local tidy towns group picked up two awards at the 2022 Supervalu Tidy Towns Awards for the North West and West region.

The Cavan Town team came out first on county level and won silver on a national level.

The local group also has been named as a finalist for a national award for best environmental ecological project 2023. Speaking to Northern Sound Cavan Tidy Towns Group member, Paul Lynch says the group are delighted with their recent accolades.

Paul says they are lucky to have so many volunteers in the group but he says they are always on the lookout for new members to get involved.
