Cavan Tidy Towns group are hosting an autism awareness coffee event this morning
To coincide with World Autism Month the local group have decided host this coffee morning at the Fairgreen Community Garden.
The event is opened to all age groups as well as parents and carers.
Cavan Autism Parents Support group are involved in this fun morning that is planned with Neurodiversity friendly activities, snacks and a quiet/calm zone.
Organiser Paul Lynch says the morning planned will be fun for all of the family.
"We're doing our bit for autism, it's quite close to home for myself and some of the families on our committee. It's at 10am in the Fairgreen Community Garden. We'll have a coffee morning for the parents, young people and old people are invited . We have a new sensory board up there that Cavan Tidy Towns has made and we put it in the garden. We'll have face painting, teas, and coffees".
