A local TD has called for more assists to help children with disabilities return to school safely.
Sinn Fein's Pauline Tully said the school closures, as well as reductions in therapy services for younger people, mean children with special needs have been denied help for over five months.
She criticised a lack of specific information for students with SEN in the roadmap for reopening schools, which had no input from Enable Ireland or similar organisations.
Speaking in the Dail, Pauline Tully said parents also have an issue with SNAs moving between classes.
