Cavan Senator, Joe O Reilly, has been appointed Fine Gael Whip in Seanad Eireann. Taoiseach Leo Varadkar appointed the local Senator to the role earlier today.
Senator O'Reilly says he appreciates the confidence that the Taoiseach has shown in him. The Cavan native said he is looking forward to working with his colleagues and especially Fianna Fail Chief Whip, Robbie Gallagher.
