A Cavan producer has been named as one of the six winners of this year's Grow with Aldi programme.
Vanilla Bean Patisserie, in Ballinagh, has its Lemon Curd, Passion Fruit Curd and Lime Curd available to buy in Aldi stores nationwide from today as a result.
Vanilla Bean Patisserie rose to the top of 290 products which were entered by over 120 Irish food, drink, and non-food suppliers this year.
As the Covid-19 pandemic began to affect the business, Kristijan Kodric took the leap of faith and entered the Grow with Aldi programme, creating these products especially for the competition.
