Cavan is one of only two counties where no-one has presented to emergency homeless services on the day of their release from prison.
Figures from this year up to the 8th of June reveals that 113 people nationwide sought emergency homeless services upon release.
However, no former inmate was in this position in counties Cavan and Leitrim.
Meanwhile, two former prisoners from Co Monaghan presented to homeless services upon release, with 24 doing so in Dublin City, the highest figure nationally.
Around 2,500 people were released from prison in the first five months of this year.
The figures were provided to Sinn Féin TD Eoin Ó Broin on foot of a parliamentary question.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee says the Prison Service "supports offenders to make informed and effective transitions from prison to the community".
