A Cavan nurse who returned home to help the fight against Covid-19 says "it's disgraceful" how they are being treated.
Bronagh was one of over 70,000 people who signed up for the "Be on Call for Ireland" initiative to work within the Irish health service at the beginning of the pandemic.
A qualified nurse, she moved abroad shortly after graduating in 2018 to work in Australia, and decided to return to Ireland earlier this year after the call by then Health Minister Simon Harris.
However since returning she has only done agency work in a local nursing home, after being told the HSE isn't hiring.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound, Bronagh said she's questioning why she "answered the call".
