A Cavan musician says there's potential for a significant return to live entertainment this summer.
The Culture Minister has drawn up proposals that could see music events resume from next month.
For over a year, entertainers have resorted to online and virtual concerts in place of live venues because of restrictions on public gatherings.
Cavan's Martin Donohoe says virtual events could remain a part of future plans, because it could be 2022 before large-scale events are given the green light.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound, he highlighted what issues the pilot events will need to solve.
