A local TD says respite and day services must resume as soon as possible.
Fianna Fáil's Brendan Smith raised the issue in the Dáil, and the HSE confirmed that day services will resume on a gradual basis in August.
However, Deputy Smith says he was told it will be some time before respite services can resume.
It comes following a protest outside the Dáil, which saw up to 100 people from the campaign group 'Enough is Enough' protest against significant reductions to the day service since March.
The Cavan-Monaghan TD says these are vital services that need to resume quickly:
