A Cavan-Monaghan Junior Minister says maintaining relations between Ireland and other EU countries is more important than ever.
Niamh Smyth was recently appointed a Junior Minister of state at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment with special responsibility for Trade Promotion, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation.
She is set to visit Estonia, Finland, and other Baltic States for her St Patrick's Day trip.

The Cavan-Monaghan TD says that current global events including the new US administration and the Ukraine war mean maintaining links is incredibly important.
