The numbers claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment have dropped by almost 12,000 this week, with a drop of over 650 in the Northern Sound Region.
Just under 206,000 people will receive the payment today.
Locally, 2,430 in Cavan and 2,234 in Monaghan will receive payments. That's a drop since last week of 258 and 401 respectively.
Donegal, which has been on Level 3 restrictions along with Dublin, will see an extra 2,000 people get the payment.
It's the only county to register a rise in the past seven days.
