Management at Cavan and Monaghan hospitals are enforcing a strict "no visiting" rule after an increase in positive Covid-19 cases.
People wishing to visit critically ill, or palliative patients are being advised to contact the ward manager directly.
In a statement to Northern Sound News, Management advised that there is now no visiting allowed at either site - while visitors for critically ill or palliative patients are being asked to contact the ward manager directly.
For specialist areas such as Maternity, Antenatal or Paediatrics, visiting are said to be available on a case-by-case basis.
Hospital management says anyone who attends either site is reminded to adhere to advice on hand hygiene, mask wearing and that temperature checks will also be in place.
