Counting got underway at 9am on Saturday at Cavan-Monaghan in the Cavan leisure centre. The sitting TD's are Matt Carthy (SF), Heather Humphries (FG)*, Pauline Tully (SF), Brendan Smith (FF) and Niamh Smyth (FF). Indeed, *Heather Humphries is not standing for re-election.
