The Cavan-Monaghan Division has one of the highest numbers of outstanding bench warrants.
Figures released by the Minister for Justice show only divisions in Dublin, Cork and Limerick have higher numbers.
Bench warrants are issued by a Judge, authorising a person's arrest, usually after a person fails to appear in Court when summoned.
892 of them are outstanding in the Cavan-Monaghan Division.
Garda divisions in Dublin have the highest numbers in the country, with the North Central area having over 5,800 alone.
Cork City has over 1,000 bench warrants outstanding, with 990 in Limerick.
Minister for Justice Helen McEntee says the execution of warrants is "a long-standing issue for many police services around the world" but Gardaí work as "expeditiously as possible".
