A Cavan man returning from a trip to deliver humanitarian aid to Poland for Ukrainian refugees has encouraged Irish people to continue donating to relief efforts.
Niall Donohoe, from Kilnaleck, delivered medical supplies, toiletries, and clothing after being approached to do so by his haulage company.
He says he was moved to tears by the gratitude of the Ukrainians fleeing war and added that the reality of the situation on the ground is "heart-breaking".
