The Cavan man behind a viral painting of frontline nurses has his eyes set on a larger series of art work.
23 year old Adam Crowe painted an image he’d seen online of two nurses in Florida, and was so moved he felt he had to recreate it.
The Cootehill man says he’s a “self-taught artist” who only took up painting during lockdown, and created this piece with supplies that were lying around the house.
The original was presented to Cavan General Hospital last week, with the aim now to raise money for Irish frontline healthcare workers and get the image into every Irish hospital.
Adam told Shannonside Northern Sound that he intends to create more painting that represent the country’s fight against Covid-19.
