An information event about TB and the government's eradication programme is being held in Cavan this evening.
The IFA's Animal Welfare Chair T J Maher and Livestock Officer, Tomás Burke will be there to share up-to-date information for farmers. Michael Sheehan, a policy-maker from the Department of Agriculture will also be at the meeting when anyone attending can ask him questions.
The meeting will start at 8pm tonight at the Errigal Hotel in Cootehill. Leinster / North East Chair Frank Brady said the event is relevant to all farmers and therefore open to everyone regardless of whether they are IFA members are not:
