Cavan has one of the highest numbers of road fatalities this year.
Figures from the Road Safety Authority show four people have died on the county's roads up to the end of June.
It compares to five deaths in both Louth and Tipperary.

Elsewhere in the region Longford has recorded two deaths, with one in Monaghan and Roscommon over that period.
Leitrim was one of five counties to have recorded no fatalities.
