A Cavan gastro-pub owner says the hospitality sector needs the VAT rate to remain as low as possible.
The Government says it could be "mid-summer" when restaurants or pubs might welcome back customers.
However, there have been calls for further clarity to be given on when that might be, or how low case numbers need to be for the sector to restart.
Fergus Murphy from Murph's Gastro Pub in Butlersbridge says there needs to be a long term plan for when trade returns to normal.
