Cavan gardaí are warning of the dangers of drink driving following a two vehicle collision on Friday evening.
The collision occurred at around 7.20 pm at Rosehill in Mullagh.
One of the drivers was drink-driving and is currently disqualified from driving for eight years.
He was also uninsured and had no tax or valid NCT.
He was arrested at the scene and will appear before court at a later date.
Elsewhere on Friday evening, checkpoints in Cavan Town led to two drivers being arrested on suspicion of drug driving and one car was taken off the road as the motorist was driving without insurance.
