Cavan Gardaí appealing for witnesses to burglaries across the county

Gardai in Cavan are appealing for witnesses to a number of burglaries at businesses across the county last month.

An Siopa in Bawnboy was broken into on August 23rd, between 1am and 3am, when significant damage was caused to the shop.

A substantial amount of damage was caused to equipment at Cavan town mart between the 24th and 27th of the month.

A rear window was broken to gain entry, and while nothing was taken, the equipment was damaged beyond repair.

Anyone with information on any of the incidents is asked to contact their local Garda station.

Separately, Garda Lisa Stephens says Centra Kingscourt and Teresa's Shop in the town were broken into at the start of the month, and Gardai are investigating.
