Thérése Conway explained how the Credit Union cultivate loan is available nationwide to farmers struggling at this, and other times of the year.
The popular loan was designed by the Credit Union together with the IFA and Teagasc to be farmer-friendly. Some of the benefits include being an unsecured loan, credit union staff trained in all matters farming, no early exit fees and insurance paid on the loan without any charges. Staff at your local branch can also deal directly with a farmer's accountant or advisor, and applicants will usually have an answer from their credit union within 24 to 48 hours.
