A local crèche owner has told an Oireachtas Covid-19 Committee that she has been “working in the dark” while trying to plan the re-opening of her facility.
Many creches are set to re-open from June 29th, with funding of €75 million being provided by government to help with that.
However, notification of this funding came 12 working days prior to the re-opening date.
Paula Donohue, owner of Clever Clogs in Ballyconnell, said this late notice caused “stress levels to rise”.
