Cavan County Council will vote today on whether or not to increase its Local Property tax rate for 2021.
Every local authority has the power to adjust the base rate by plus or minus 15 per cent, with it resetting each year.
For the past two years, councillors in Cavan kept the rate of tax unchanged.
Elsewhere in the region, Leitrim and Longford will see no change in their Local Property Tax for 2021, while it will increase by 15 per cent in Monaghan.
Roscommon is to agree its rate when the council meets at the end of the month.
