Cavan County Council is actively considering the provision of affordable housing in the county over the coming years, under the ‘Housing for All’ Plan. The information will be used to inform the council of the level of demand and locations for affordable houses and the house prices that people might be able to afford.
The Council has now issued a call by way of a survey of interest in affordable housing purchase only and for the sole purpose of gathering information on income levels, family size, housing type and location preference. ‘First Time Buyers’ or ‘Fresh Start Applicants’ are invited to complete the survey.
The Council will use the information gathered to assist them in formulating plans for future affordable housing. No properties are currently available for purchase under the Scheme. The survey will be open until Friday, 20 December.
